Enjoy the moderate grade, 12.6km trail from through Devilbend Reservoir - the largest inland water body on the Mornington Peninsula. Keep an eye out for plenty of bird life including the majestic White‐bellied Sea Eagle.
Start and end point: Devilbend Circuit trail Parking area off Graydens Road, Tuerong
Grade: Moderate
Length: 12.6km
Elevation gain: 215m
Expected walking duration: 3h
Equipment: A small backpack with 1.5-2L water, and sun protection. A good pair of runners is necessary or even better, a pair of hiking shoes or boots. The main benefit of hiking shoes will be some waterproofing, and sturdier soles for better balance and support. Hiking poles are optional and may be beneficial for steeper sections of the walk. They are good for adding balance and taking some load off the legs (and we can teach you how to use these properly if never used before!)
Inclusions:
Full insurance for all participants
Parks Victoria Licensed guide trained as a wilderness first aid responder
Snack during and post walk
