Frequently Asked Questions

  • These tours are designed to be low cost and accessible for all. All hikes can be completed in a pair of good quality running shoes however hiking shoes (including trail runners) are preferred for the extra grip, stability and waterproofing. Please bring a small backpack with enough water. Sun protection is recommended and depending on the weather additional clothing layers including rain jackets are advised. Layered clothing is preferable to single, large warm layers due to more temperature versatility. Hiking poles are not necessary but recommended to help with stability on steep and uneven ground

  • Each tour will vary in duration depending on length of the hike although most weekend tours will run for approximately 4-6 hours, while mid week tours may be shorter induration. Duration will always depend on walking speed of the individual and group so check each event or expected durations

  • Full refunds will be issued in the instance of extreme weather warnings by the Bureau of Meteorology (including heat, bushfire, flood, extreme wind and/or storms) in which operating is considered dangerous. In instances of poor weather, we will still operate while taking every provision possible to make it a safe an enjoyable hike.

  • These are designed to be beginner friendly hikes achievable by people with a modest level of health and fitness. Each hike will differ in duration, terrain, degree of elevation change. If in doubt, contact us on admin@everyonecanhike.com.au

  • There will be a pre-existing medical condition disclaimer when signing up to the hike. Various medical conditions may require medical clearance with a doctor before participation. if in doubt contact us on admin@everyonecanhike com.au.

  • Our hikes differ in the facilities offered on the trail and you can find details of these on the individual hiking event. There are often public toilets or stops in towns however most hikes will likely require a ‘scenic’ bathroom break. From our commitment to environmental conservation, guides will carry toilet paper and plastic bags for waste. You may choose to carry your own, however we are committed to ‘leave no trace’ in the environment and no rubbish is to be left by our participants.

  • Absolutely! These tours are designed to be social, fun, and with photo opportunities at scenic spots. Make sure any good photos are shared with us if you want a chance to be featured on our social media!

  • Our main tours are restricted to people ages 16+ with any person under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Parks Victoria has laws against pets in Victoria’s National Parks and thus are not allowed on our tours.
