Community

Whether you are new to hiking and don’t know how or where to start, or have hiked before but want to share the experience with like-minded people; all are welcome in our group. We believe fun and friendship are huge parts of enjoying anything and aim for our hikes to be a perfect mix between challenging and achievable- especially with a motivated group surrounding you and a social tea or coffee to finish it off!

Health

There is no denying getting outside is one of the healthiest ways to spend the day. Physically, hiking improves cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance, and walking on uneven terrain improves balance and coordination. Mentally, fresh air and nature reduces stress, improves mood, and achieving a physical goal like a hike can create a sense of pride and achievement in yourself. People often also find exercising outdoors, especially in a social setting, more motivating than indoors in a gym. Set some health and fitness goals to work towards or just come along for the ride - the benefits will happen either way!

Safety

Staying safe in the outdoors is one of the key reasons to hike in a group. Find ease in knowing hikes are fully insured for all participant, our lead guides are wilderness and remote first aid trained and carry all the essentials if accident or injury was to occur.
